This picture shows the moment a kingfisher catches a fish in his beak after diving through a tiny hole in the ice. Award-winning wildlife photographer Mark Hancox captured the amazing image on the coldest day of the winter so far as temperatures plunged to -5C. His photo shows the bird diving into the water through a 15cm-wide gap in the frozen lake and emerging with a minnow in his beak. Mark captured the shot at a private pool near his home in Droitwich, Worcestershire, on Monday morning.
